Pink Friday

Nicki Minaj's Pink Friday Album was release November 23, 2010.  It features seventeen tracks, with collaborations from Drake, Will.i.am, Kanye West, and Natasha Bedingfield.

This album was a long awaited one, because Nicki was so busy during the first couple of months of her career as a rap artist.

With the long awaited Pink Friday Album, Nicki has not only created success with her album, but also
with her name.




So, what exactly does Pink Friday stand for?

Nicki has her reason for naming her album Pink Friday, but so do a lot of others too.  Some think it was named Pink Friday, because she is always calling her fans Barbz and Kenz. 

This could have something to do with it, but the reason behind the name is, Nicki's Album came out around
Thanksgiving.  In the United States we call the Friday after Thanksgiving 'black friday."  For us black friday
is just a day to get Christmas Presents cheaper than the regular price, but for Nicki Minaj it was the Friday after her album was release.

Nicki's album is for everyone.  Moment 4 Life, Super Bass, and Your Love is just a few of my favorites on the album.  Her music is made for the young and the old.  It's hard to get the best of both worlds on just album, but Nicki Minaj has proven us wrong.
